Launched in 2003, City Oil strives to serve Uganda's ever-growing transport industry with unparalleled service and competitive fuel prices. From this strategy, City Service was born. Linked to every City Oil forecourt is a state-of-the-art service centre where patrons can have their vehicles serviced economically and efficiently.
The 2017 brand evolution leveraged the established brand equity of yellow and blue and introduced a universally understood brand mark, literally the importance of both the City Oil and City Service brands; an oil drop at the core of a hexagonal nut.
Symbiotic to all City Oil forecourts is a friendly On The Go convenience store. These 24/7 commuter and community orientated stores offer customers everything from daily essentials and groceries to take away foods and beverages.
The identity takes cues from the vibrant and energetic traffic found in any Ugandan city. A strategic nod to the host-brand City Oil can be seen in the primary colour palette as well as the oil-drop within the chevron-style arrow.
