The restored Edwardian gentlemen's washrooms, dating back to 1911, plays host to decadent private events and eccentric experiences, inspired by authentic Victoriana with a modern twist.
The bathhouse building still features the original absinthe-green tiles, cathedral-style windows and original water closets (now dinner 'thrones').
The venue name and identity respectfully pays homage to the building's heritage. The carefully researched and crafted monogram incorporates key elements from the original Arms of the City of Johannesburg found above the entrance to the bathhouse.
Branding collateral included menues, invitation seals and stationery. As an ode to the exclusivity of the venue the only signage is a heritage-style brass plaque.
